At Lozi, we are committed to delivering fresh groceries, fruits, vegetables, and daily essentials to your doorstep in a safe, timely, and reliable manner.
This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines how we handle deliveries and what customers can expect.

1. Serviceable Areas

We currently deliver in select areas of Bihar Sharif and surrounding locations.

To check whether your location is serviceable, please use the PIN code checker in our app or contact customer support.

2. Delivery Time Slots

We offer three fixed delivery slots daily:

  • Morning Slot: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Midday Slot: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Evening Slot: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

You can select your preferred time slot during checkout or in your subscription settings. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before the cutoff time.

3. Order Cut-off Timings

  • Orders placed before 9:00 PM will be eligible for delivery in the next available time slot based on your selection.
  • Subscription deliveries are automatically scheduled and prepared as per the selected slot.

4. Delivery Charges

  • Delivery charges may vary based on your delivery location and distance from our dispatch center.
  • The applicable delivery fee will be clearly displayed at checkout before you place your order.

For most areas, standard charges are as follows:

  • Nearby Locations (within 3 km) : ₹25 – ₹30
  • Mid-range Locations (3–7 km) : ₹30 – ₹40
  • Extended Areas (7 km and above) : ₹40 or as calculated
  • Subscription Orders: May be eligible for free delivery or discounted charges.
  • Minimum Order Value: ₹599: May be eligible for free delivery or discounted charges.

5. Order Tracking

  • Real-time order tracking is available via the Lozi mobile app.
  • You will receive updates via SMS, WhatsApp, or App Notifications when:
    • Your order is being prepared
    • The delivery agent is en route
    • The order is delivered

6. Missed Deliveries

If you are unavailable during the chosen delivery slot:

  • Our delivery agent will attempt to contact you
  • If the order cannot be delivered, it may be returned to the warehouse and marked as >failed delivery

In such cases, you may be charged the full amount or required to reorder.

7. Delivery Delays

We strive to ensure on-time deliveries. However, delays may occur due to:

  • Traffic, weather, or natural calamities
  • Supply issues
  • High order volume during festivals or sales

You will be notified in case of such delays via the app or SMS.

8. Packaging and Handling

We use hygienic, eco-friendly packaging materials that ensure:

  • Freshness and safety of perishables
  • Minimal environmental impact

For frozen items, we use insulated packaging or cool packs when necessary.

9. Delivery Confirmation

A digital delivery confirmation will be taken:

  • Via OTP authentication or
  • Digital signature or photo confirmation (no facial data stored)

This ensures transparency and proof of successful delivery.

10. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure smooth delivery, customers must:

  • Provide accurate address and contact information
  • Be available during the selected delivery slot
  • Inspect the order at the time of delivery
